Terms of use.

1. Who these terms are between

These terms are between Skyrims Technologies, Kwara State, Nigeria ("we", "us"), and you, the business or person using StoqBox. By installing or using StoqBox Enterprise, the StoqBox Owner app or StoqBox Go, you agree to them. Questions: info@stoqbox.com or WhatsApp 0803 043 9843.

2. StoqBox Enterprise licence

• StoqBox Enterprise is licensed, not sold. A licence lasts one year and covers the edition and the number of cashpoints written on it.
• A licence is tied to your shop's computer. If you replace that computer, tell us and we will move the licence.
• You may not copy, resell, share or change the software, or try to get around the licence check.
• StoqBox reminds you from 30 days before your licence ends. After the end date, there is a short grace period shown on screen. If the licence is still not renewed, StoqBox stops letting you sell until it is renewed.
• Your records stay on your shop's computers when a licence ends. They are not deleted, and everything is there again when you renew.

3. Setup and training

Setting StoqBox Enterprise up in your shop and training your staff are part of the licence. You provide the computers, receipt printer, barcode scanner and shop network listed under "Before you install" on our Help page, and your product and staff lists.

4. The StoqBox Owner app

The StoqBox Owner app comes with StoqBox Enterprise and works while your licence is active. There is one owner account per shop. Keep your phone and email secure: anyone who signs in to your account can see your shop's figures.

5. StoqBox Go

StoqBox Go is free. It is provided as it is. Your records are kept on your phone, so keeping a backup is your responsibility — use the backup file in the app or your Google backup.

6. Your records

You own your shop's records. We use the figures the Owner app sends us only to show them to you, and to keep the service working. We do not sell them or share them with anyone, except our hosting provider who stores them for us, or where the law requires it. Our privacy notice explains this in full.

7. Payment

Prices are in naira and agreed with you before you buy. A licence starts once it is paid for. Renewal is paid yearly, before the licence ends.

8. Updates

While your licence is active you get updates to StoqBox Enterprise. We may improve, change or remove features over time; we will not take away the core of what you bought — selling, stock and reports — during your licence year.

9. Limits of responsibility

• We build StoqBox carefully and test it before every release, but no software is free of faults. Check your figures and keep regular backups away from the shop.
• We are not responsible for losses caused by things outside our control, including power cuts, faulty or stolen hardware, viruses, network problems, or staff misuse.
• As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the licence in the 12 months before the claim. StoqBox Go is free, so we have no responsibility for losses from using it.
• Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Nigerian consumer protection law that cannot be limited.

10. Ending

You can stop using StoqBox at any time. We may end a licence if you break these terms, for example by copying or reselling the software; we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right where we can.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If we disagree, we will first try to settle it by talking. If that fails, the courts of Nigeria will decide.

12. Changes

If these terms change, we will update this page and the date below. Changes do not reduce what you have already paid for. Last updated: 15 October 2026.
