Who we are

StoqBox is made by Skyrims Technologies, Kwara State, Nigeria. In this notice, "we" and "us" mean Skyrims Technologies. For anything about your information, email info@stoqbox.com or send a WhatsApp message to 0803 043 9843.

We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Where you use StoqBox to keep records about your own customers and staff, you decide what is recorded and why; for the information the Owner app sends to us, we look after it on your behalf and only to show your figures.

StoqBox Enterprise

Your shop's records — sales, products, stock, customers, staff, payroll and expenses — are stored on your shop's own computers. They are not sent to us.

If you switch on the StoqBox Owner app (it is off until you do), your main shop computer sends what the phone needs to show your figures: sales and the items in them, products and stock, staff activity, promotions, expenses and shop health. It never sends customer names, phone numbers or purchase histories, and never sends payroll.

To check your licence, StoqBox reads a code made from your shop computer. This code stays in the licence file and is shared with us only when you send it to us to renew.

StoqBox Owner app

• The figures above are kept on servers in Frankfurt, Germany (European Union), run for us by our hosting provider, only so your phone can show them.
• Every upload from your shop is signed, and each shop's figures are kept apart from every other shop's.
• You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. We use your email only to sign you in and to contact you about your account and licence.
• If you allow notifications, the app registers your phone with Expo's notification service so it can alert you about your shop — for example low stock or a licence about to end. You can turn notifications off in your phone's settings.
• Your phone stores a copy of recent figures so it can show them without signal.
• We keep your shop's figures while your shop uses the Owner app. If you stop, or ask us to, we delete them from our servers. The records on your shop computers are not affected.

StoqBox Go

• StoqBox Go has no account and no StoqBox server. Your records stay on your phone.
• If Android backup is on, your records (not your product photos) are included in your own Google backup, which Google keeps under your Google account.
• Backup files you make are saved wherever you choose to put them.
• Your PIN never leaves your phone.
• Reminders are set on your phone and stay on your phone.
• If you use "Send feedback", WhatsApp opens with your app version and phone model typed in; nothing is sent unless you press Send.

This website

• This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare handles your device's internet address and browser details to deliver pages and keep the site safe from attacks.
• We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and does not build a profile of you; we see totals such as how many people opened each page.
• The contact form does not send anything to us by itself. It prepares a WhatsApp message that you choose whether to send. Once you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own privacy policy also applies.
• We do not sell your information, and we do not show advertising.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@stoqbox.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
